Find a social issue in our society today that interests you.
1. Describe the issue and your interest
2. What theory would be most appropriate to look at this issue and why
3. What method would allow you to collect data to study this issue and how would you conduct this data collection.
HInt: If you are using a macro theory you should use a macro method… Same with a micro theory = micro method. For example, functionalism and conflict theory are macro and should use a quantitative method (survey or experiment). If you are using a micro theory like symbolic interactionism you should use a qualitative method (semi-structured interview or ethnography)
