social justice. In selecting an issue consider types and mechanisms of power, oppression, and privilege. Look for a
particular group of people who are being discriminated against or who are vulnerable or being oppressed.
However, there are key elements that
should be in your paper/presentation.
• You must show that this issue is bigger than the one article. Show support for the points by using other
sources of information.
• Discuss why this issue relates to diversity
• Be explicit about the social justice aspect of the issue.
• What is your response to the issue? How does this issue affect you or your thinking? What have you learned?
