Write a report examining the extent to which global inequalities have been changing, and what actions should be taken to address them.
Details of the task
Your report should be written for the fictional think tank, Global Justice and Equality Centre, who are concerned with informing policies that help tackle global inequality. The think tank is looking to present this report to governments, international organisations and NGOs with a view to advising them on the changing nature of global inequalities and the actions that should be taken to reduce them.
The report has to set out:
• some background on the historical patterns of global inequality, along with identification of some relevant conceptual considerations when describing these patterns
• identification of some key justice-based arguments for why action should be taken
• some recommendations on actions to reduce global inequalities.
The report will be read by the think tank’s executive committee which is comprised of members of the organisation’s management, key workers and representative members drawn from the wide range of individual supporters of the organisation. Your report needs to be written in a way that is accessible to this varied audience.
