The topic I chose is on fossil fuels and why is so hard to move on from. In my paper I will argue that the real reason that we cannot quit fossil fuels is because we lack the technology and policies. This is a final paper for chemistry, the course is about applying chemistry to society. The paper must answer the following: Why fossil fuel generating electricity would be the most beneficial moving forward and defend that choice, what society would look like with that as the primary source of energy and how our society will get to that point.
