Specify contributions – how can that integration process result in something new in terms of theories or methods – how would the outcome look like?
The introduction I’ve wrote:
The aim of this essay is to outline how an interdisciplinary approach integrating Social Work, Social Marketing and Political science is the most appropriate proposal when dealing with highly complex behaviour change interventions, such as increase voter participation of young adults living in deprived areas. After stablishing the background and the complexity of the issue, it will explain why education is the most appropriate approach as an intervention, and in this context, explore why the disciplines above were chosen, starting by exposing the definition of a discipline.
Then it will contrast a multi-disciplinary approach against an interdisciplinary approach to better demonstrate the need for the latter. It will be followed by an explanation of each discipline and its standpoint on the aforementioned issue in depth.
Lastly, it will critically expose why the networking and collaboration of an interdisciplinary group utilizing innovative methods and concepts could be a predictor of better outcomes always crosschecking with a multi-disciplinary boundaries to guarantee a truly interdisciplinary intervention is been proposed.
