Trevor Noah response to COVID 19
For this assignment I was suppose to choose a book to read and then create a creative “chapter” on my own. (I choose the book ‘Born a crime’.
This means that I need to write a chapter with the writing style of Trevor Noah.
The chapter should have a minimum word count of 900 and it should start with a societal background (that’s how Trevor Noah starts his chapters). I was thinking of writing about Trevor Noah and his response to COVID 19 in America ( there are a videos on YouTube where he talks about the COVID situation).
As mentioned the chapter needs to start with a societal background and I was thinking on starting about TREVOR NOAH and his younger age where he always wanted to come to America and thought America is a perfect place to live and how much he admired America however now Trevor Noah believes that America is not exactly the place he imagined to be…. Also what we can mention in the societal background is that in South Africa the COVID situation is way better than in America.
Then going to start the actual piece which is focusing on Trevor Noah and his response to COVID 19. Also his Perspectives on how trump sealed with the COVID-19 situation. It is important to include humor in the creative chapter (something funny he has experienced during COVID 19) it doesn’t have to be true.
His book is written in first person which means that this assignment should also be written in first person.
In this assignment we are also suppose to use grammar elements throughout this piece (I have uploaded files for more info)
