What is your area of interest in finance?
What are your goals upon completion of the MSF program?
What choices have led you to your current career path and position?
My field of interest in finance is investments. After my undergraduate studies, I worked as an intern in one of the most recognized financial institutions, JPMorgan Chase in the country, and I have to say that the experience I got at the company motivated me to pursue the Master’s of Science in Finance(MSF) program. During my time atQuantitative Methods, I worked under a junior financial analyst, who gave me the necessary support at the institution. I gained knowledge in financial areas, including the gathering of relevant financial data, crafting financial reports, analyzing profits, assessment of stocks and bonds, evaluation of the capital flows and financial forecasts. The real-world experience that I got from the internship not only helped me acquire significant experience in statistically analyzing and processing financial data, but also expanded my understanding of the significance of finance, specifically investments, as a whole, thus motivating me to further my studies by pursuing the MSF program.
After finishing the MSF program, I am looking forward to working as an investment analyst with investment management firms such as JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo and UBS. I am looking forward to providing investment advice and consequently helping customers evaluate their business plans by doing market research and data synthesis. The analytical expertise and technical skills acquired through the MSF program’s coursework components are valuable in a competitive market.
Therefore, considering the above, the MSF program, with its academically strong courses in Corporate Finance, Investments, Economics of Stock Markets, and Quantitative Methods, is the priority choice that can help me further my academic and professional career. I am confident that my diverse background will be of importance to the program’s multiplicity, and I am looking forward to acquiring necessary special skills.
