Using the procedures outlined in Steps 1 and 2 above, examine the spectra of these objects: “3C 215”, “3C 212”, and “3C 9”. They’re quasars – and are so far away from Earth that you need to use the emission line labeled “Mg II 2799” to track their redshift. Note also their morphologies as they appear on the images of the SDSS Navigate tool.
